Solemnity of the Most Holy Body & Blood of Christ

On the Feast of Corpus Christi, our Saint Ann community gathered in procession to honor and adore Jesus Christ, truly present in the Eucharist.

This year’s procession focused on the Seven Gifts of the Holy Spirit, with seven altars prepared by partnering ministries as places for the monstrance to be placed and the Blessed Sacrament to be venerated:

Wisdom: Altar Servers & Legion of Mary (Spanish members)

Understanding: Eucharistic Ministers and Sacristans (English members)

Counsel: Ushers & Ministers (Spanish members)

Fortitude: Lectors and Choirs (English members)

Knowledge: Lectors & Divine Mercy (Spanish members)

Piety: Altar Servers & Ushers (English members)

Fear of God: Mass Coordinators & Sacristans (Spanish members)

At each altar, our community paused in prayer, a reading was shared for reflection, another prayer followed, and then we received a blessing with the Blessed Sacrament.

Thank you to our priests, servers, ministry leaders, and all the volunteers who braved the heat to make this beautiful celebration possible. Your reverence, service, and care helped make the procession an outward sign of the love and awe we feel in the presence of the true Body of Christ.

Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, we adore You.
